Welcome Matt Ducharme!
Please join us in welcoming Matt Ducharme as our new Deputy Clerk!
We are pleased to announce that Matt Ducharme has accepted the position of Deputy Clerk with the Town of Essex.
Matt is not new to the Town of Essex, having worked for the Town as a Legislative Services Intern for three summers (2021-2023). Matt has also worked as a Legislative & Clerk Services Intern for the Town of Tecumseh and most recently for the Town as Kingsville, working first as a Licensing Coordinator and then as a Legislative and Policy Coordinator. Matt also previously worked at Vollmer and Associates as a Support Services Assistant.
Matt has earned an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree with a Specialization in Human Resources as well as a Certificate in Public Administration, both from the University of Windsor.
Please join me in welcoming Matt as he begins his new position on March 30, 2026.
