Whether you're cruising the coast of Lake Erie's north shore or winding through the backroads of Essex County, you're bound to find something of interest around the next curve in the road.

Downtown Harrow

Looking for an urban experience? Head to Harrow on County Road 20 and discover downtown charm. There's plenty of room to park your bike and stroll the streets.

Stop by the Tourism Kiosk (located in front of Canada Post) and grab as many brochures as you would like. Lots to see and do in the Town of Essex!

If you are looking to 'refuel' before moving on, check out The Beerded Dog Brewing Co. for some delicious food and drinks.

County Road 50

Head east on County Road 50 for a scenic, unhurried drive along the waterfront. To fully experience our region, be sure to stop at roadside stands, historic sites, and wineries.

Check out The Fruit Wagon! They have been offering quality home-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers at “Canada’s most southerly orchard” since 1984. While there, check out varietal hard ciders at Carolinia Cider Co, a local family owned cidery.

Don't forget to stop by Garfield's and try some of the fan favorites, such as the gooey mozzarella-stick grilled cheese and crispy Lake Erie Perch.

Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village

From County Road 50, take the Arner Townline to the Canadian Transportation Museum and Heritage Village. Here you'll find an impressive collection of vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles and equipment. If you're a motorcycle fanatic, you'll be glad you stopped!

Outside, take a walk through Heritage Village, a collection of historic buildings dating from 1820 to 1930. When the time is right, grab a bite to eat at the 50’s Diner inside the museum.

Don't forget to pack up the saddle bags and stay a while at one of the exceptional romantic stays or cottages on the Lake Erie waterfront.
